Since 2013, we have partnered with Williamson Area High School and offer a free Thanksgiving Dinner the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
We do this to nourish and better know and understand the Nelson residents. In the past years, we have served over 100 dinners, which include all the fixings: turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, corn, and a piece of pie.
The United Church of Nelson is a loving and vibrant community that is led by the Spirit. They embrace people from all walks of life and are dedicated to multiplying disciples of Christ. The fellowship also serves the community and strives to make a positive impact.
