The United Church of Nelson

At the United Church of Nelson, one of the best ways to connect with others, grow in faith, and serve together in community is to join our small group. We believe it’s in a smaller environment where relationships with each other and with God grow.

During our time together we will get to know each other, pray, grow spiritually, laugh a lot, and serve in the community.

 Our Small Group currently meets in a member’s livingroom. We meet every other Sunday evening during September – December and again from February – May.  In the fall of 2022, part of each session will focus on the book The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom.  When the Nazis invaded Holland, Corrie ten Boom’s quiet like turned into a nightmare.  Because she made her home a “hiding place” for Jews, she and her family were sent to a concentration camp.  Refusing to despair, Corrie discovered how Jesus can turn loss to glory!  This unforgettable story will move you to tears and joy.  We hope to learn a lot about being a Christian and loving God from this study.
