The Reverend Dorothy Densmore (better known as "Dot" to the adults and "Pastor Dot" to the kids) has been
serving as a minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA) since 1995.  She began her career first as an Elder
preaching at a small local church and then as a Commissioned Lay Pastor.  While serving a congregation in
northwestern PA, Dot commuted weekly to attend seminary.  She holds a BA in Human Relations from the
University of Pittsburgh, graduating summa cum laude.  Granted a full scholarship for seminary, Dot obtained
her Master's Degree in Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.  While in seminary, she was awarded
the Theodore Kalsbeek Award in Small Church Ministry for her redevelopment work in small congregations.

God called Dot to serve the United Church of Nelson in April of 2008.
